Identification of Parts and Hardware
IMPORTANT! No hardware substitutions are permitted unless noted.
Diagrams are provided throughout this Manual to identify Parts used in that application.
Parts and basic components are identified with cut lines and their accompanying Tables as “Items” with a black number in brown circle. See Below. Names for some components which have BROCK® Part Numbers have been capitalized within headings and body copy throughout this Manual to call attention to them.
Dimensions and lengths are noted with a brown circle on a line, then identified with numeric values in a Table.

Definition of Terms and Pictures
- Metric measurements are shown in square brackets after the English measurement, unless otherwise specified. " equals inches and ' equals feet in English measurements.
- “Horizontal” (—) and “Vertical” (l), Bottom and Top, in the instructions refer to the Controller as you are facing the front of it.
- “Left” and “right” refer to the Controller as you are looking at it from the outside.
- Major changes from the last printing will be listed on the back cover.
- The Planning Symbol at left is used in areas where planning needs to take place before assembly and/or installation continue.
- “Dryer/Equipment Disconnect” (noun): lever/handle located on the outside of the Electrical Power Cabinet, on the left-hand door or between the doors on the center post. Turns power ON/OFF to the Dryer.
- “Service Disconnect” (noun): sometimes located away from the Dryer in an electrical room on the facility. Turns power ON/OFF from the outside power service provider. Depending on local codes, it is the responsibility of the Service Provider and/or Owner to clearly mark the Service Disconnect and apply SAFETY Decals for dangers within.
Your Shipment
Your QUANTUM® Controller is inspected carefully at the time of shipment. However, use the packing slip and check your shipment on arrival to be sure it is complete. Leave the protective cover on the Control Panel Outer Door window until you are ready to install the Controller. These are the parts you should receive:

Equipment and Tools Needed:
IMPORTANT! All electrical testing must be done by a QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN, in accordance with all applicable national, state and local codes. Brock Grain Systems neither will be liable for damage to the Dryer or to person(s) because of unqualified electrical testing or use. Improper testing or use will void the Warranty.
• 115-volt voltmeter • ohm meter • amp meter
• IC chip removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver for Chip replacements
