Altivar Codes and Settings

Power up the unit. -bFr appears.

With the jog dial to adjust the proper Hz. setting. Leave at 50 Hz. for out side of North America and 60 Hz. for North America.

Press the center of the jog dial in to ENT  and lock in. Display now reads rdY.

Press ENT and turn the jog dial clockwise to drC- menu and press ENT to start programming steps for the drive.

Refer to first page “Access to Parameters” to scroll through the parameters to make the necessary adjustments.

Once this section is completed, press the ESC button to get out to the drC- Menu. Turn the jog dial counter-clockwise to scroll up to the SEt- section.

Press ENT to get to the first item.

Press ESC to get to the SEt- Menu. Turn the jog dial counter-clockwise to move up to the FTt- Menu.  Press ENT to access the first parameter.

Press ESC two (2) times to exit to the FLt- Menu. Turn the jog dial clockwise to get to the SUP- Menu.

The display Menu allows you to choose the parameter to be displayed during operation and to view the last fault, drive controller software version, and access code. Save the display you have chosen by:

Pressing the ENT key once: the choice is temporary and will be cleared at the next power up.

Pressing the ENT key twice: the choice is permanent. The second press on ENT exits the SUP- menu.

The following parameters can be accessed, with the drive controller stopped or running.
This completes the programming procedure. press ESC two (2) times to get to RDY.
The Drive is now ready for normal operation.

Note:

The Altivar 312 uses a scroll wheel instead of the traditional Up/Down/Esc/Ent keys found on the Altivar 31. To use this guide with an ATV312:

Down = Turn Wheel Clockwise, Up = Turn Wheel Counter Clockwise

Ent = Push in on the Scroll Wheel, Esc = Esc

 

 

Note: ATV 312 will display Ref. Scroll right once to get to SEt
