Master CPU Board

The MASTER CPU board is the main "BRAIN" of the QUANTUM® system. It is in constant communication with the Slave Board which is mounted on the Dryer Control Panel. All information about the current status of the Dryer is reported to the Master by the Slave Board. The Master then computes all the necessary corrections needed to control the drying process. The Master instructs the Slave as to what parameters to change. All communications between the Master and Slave are done via the RS485 communications cable. If communication between the two are lost, the dryer will automatically shut off.
