Power ON Should Illuminate I/O Board Lights
When power is applied to the Dryer and it is ready to be started, there should be green lights illuminated on the I/O Board inside the Dryer Panel Box. Certain lights are ON depending on the ROM chip DATE:
3/12/12
5/8/10
9/12/06

If these lights are not on, check to make sure that the ROM chip is installed correctly on the Slave CPU board. If it is, check to make sure that the Moisture Sensors are wired correctly. When the Sensors are miswired, a short circuit condition exists on the Power Supply, causing it to shut down. This condition can be quickly checked by unplugging the connector on the bottom of the Slave Board where the Sensors are interfaced (TB1) If, after doing this, the lights begin operating, check all Sensor wiring for proper termination.
Before Starting the Dryer
Before starting the Dryer, ensure that the Master Control Unit is set up correctly for the particular Dryer model it is controlling. This is done under the HIDDEN FUNCTION Menus, which allows programming of the unit for model type, supply voltage, fuel type, etc.
Perform an Initial Checkout with the Monitor ENABLES Screen
When starting the Dryer for the first time, it is a good idea to enable only one item at a time so that rotation direction and overall operation can be checked out. (This is done via the ENABLES Menu Screen for selection of each device. Also, when doing this, make sure the unit is operating in MANUAL mode. Otherwise it will not operate correctly. When this initial checkout has been completed and the Dryer is ready to be operated with all devices ENABLED (Fan, Load, Burner, Unload,) please keep in mind the following:
