Moveable Plate
This mode is achieved by opening the
Plenum Floor Doors
to create a modified single-zone Dryer.
DRYING MODE TWO:
MODIFIED FULL HEAT - Single Zone (M, E or A Models)
Modified Full Heat - Single Zone mode (SQM, SQE, and SQA models) is similar to Full Heat - Single Zone except that drying air is distributed down through the Plenum Floor Doors. This mode is achieved by opening the Plenum Floor Doors to create a modified single-zone of heat. Capacities in this mode are only slightly less than those of Full Heat - Single Zone. This mode also requires a cooling bin and close management of the drying process to accurately predict the final moisture in the bin. Moisture measurement is also more difficult for hot grain. Full Heat derives its efficiency from the energy remaining in the kernel, which expels moisture in the cooling process. Rollover info balloon.
