Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) refers to the systematic procedures as outlined by OSHA (29 CFR 1910.147) for dealing with hazardous electrical energy. LOTO is the procedure by which qualified and licensed electrical personnel must abide to approach electrical testing and maintenance on these Dryers.
The “Manufacturer’s Recommended Minimum Lockout/Tagout Energy Control Procedures” incorporates LOTO steps, and is referred to several times in this Manual.
See Main Menu for more details.
IMPORTANT!
When “Lockout/Tagout” is referred to in this Manual, it is always with the understanding that procedures are to be done only by qualified, licensed electrical personnel who are following the National Electrical Code plus all applicable state and local codes.
